MASTERTON BOROUGH. i In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act and of The Local Bodies Loans Act. THE Masterton Borough Council HEREBY GIVES PUBLIC NOTICE that such Council propose to raise A Special Loan of SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED POUNDS, (.£7,500) for the purpose of PURCHASING THE FEE SIMPLE OF THE LANDS OF THE MASTERTON AGRICULTURAL AND PASTORAL ASSOCIATION abutting on Dixon and Herbert Streets containing thereabouts 38 acres 2 roods 0 perches AND IMPROVING THE SAME. And to make an annually recurring Special Rate of .t2 pence iu the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the said Borough as security for the interest and sinking fund in connection with such loan. The whole of the loan is to be repayable on the aist day of March, 1050. It is not proposed to pay out of the loan monies the cost of raising the loan or the first year's interest. THE Mastcrton Borough Council HEREBY GIVES PUBLIC NOTICE that such Council proposes to A Special Loan of FORTY THOUSAND POUNDS (.£40,000) for the. purpose of DRAINAGE AND SANITATION EXTENSION TO BE APPLIED m paying off the existing drainage loans of £B,OOO and £5,000 respectively, and the balance £27,000 to bo applied in extending and improving the Drainage and Sanitation Worlc9 of the Borough, so that the rate to be levied shall be a uniform rate extending over the whole Borough. The proposal to be conditional on the Government agreeing to advance th<> money for the work, and the poll to be taken subject to such condition. And to make an annually recurring special rate of .98 pence in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property within the said Borough as security for the interest and sinking fund in connection with feuoh loan. The whole of the loan is to be repayable on the 31st Jay of March, 1930.
