WAIRARAPA POULTRY AND PIGEON ASSOCIATION.
The annual show of the Wairarapa Poultry and Pigeon Association will (>«-> opened in the Drill Hall to-day. The valuable prizes to be given in connection with the Association's Art Union are now on view at Mesrs G. Hyde and Co.'s estalishment, tnd are attracting considerable attentii n. Tickets for the Show are sold at cne shilling, and each ticket entitles xhe holder to a chance in the Art Union. The members of the Association have worked hard to ensure a successful Show, and judging by present indications their labours will meet with success. Excellent entries have been received, and the quality of the birds to be shown will be of a high standard. Birds will be exhibited from Christchurch, Wellington, Wanganui and Marton, and various towns in the Wairarapa. The Show will be opened at 2 o'clock, and will be continued on Saturday, when the Hall j will be open to the public from 10 J a.m. to 10 p.m.
