BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, July 9. j When the Court of Appeal sat today, Mr Skerrett applied to the Court to hear a matter as to the caveat lodged by A. M. Jones ("Mokau" Jones) against certain lands in the Mokau district. Mr Jones was in Court, and complained that he couldn't hear, and insisted on his right to hear, so that he could instruct counsel In answer to the Cour\ Mr Treadwell said he appeared for Mr Jones, and Judge Williams said he had better look after him. Mr Treadwell intimated he was trying to do so. Hearing of the case was fixed for Monday week.
