WAIRARAPA HUNT CLUB.

A "meet" of'the Wairarapa Hunt Club was held at Blairlogie on Saturday, writes our Ti Nui correspondent. The weather was perfect, and the attendance was large. Nineteen ■huntsmen followed the hounds. The cover chosen was over rolling country, with numerous creeks running ■ through it. The jumps were considered to be the best erected in tha 'district. Mr R. . Morrison was heartily congratulated for his pains in erecting ruch jumps. There were a.veral "spills" during the run. Mr Ronaldson was rendered unconscious for a time through his mount falling on him. Mr E. Williams also received a bad fall. Mis.s Morrison kindly provided afternoon tea, for •which she was heartily cheered. The following took part in the run:—Messrs H. Welch (huntsman), on Mistake; W. H. Buick (master), -on Dick Turpin; A. A. Cameron (deputy master), on Oniway; J. Douglas, on Robin; B. Vallance, on Garrv; C. F. Vallance, on Rata; H. Millar, on Starlight; J., Floyd, Gipsy; H. McGuikin, on Aohanga; *J. Westmoreland, on Floater; T. O'Dwyer, on Gunmetnl; J. Hudson, on Poorest King; H. Bunny, on Affinity; J. O'Brien, on Surprise; .J. Hyde, on Sandy; W. Douglas, on Sister; A. Ronaldson, on Molly; E. Williams, on Prospector; C. J. ~Bennett, on Diana.
