At the sheep sales to-day the following prices, w.?re realised:—Border Leicesters: Seven rams, bred by Andrews (Southbridge), averaged £5; t\vo rams, bred by.. Nixon (Killinchey), averaged £4 11s4d; twentynine rams, bred by the same breeder, averaged £ll6s 3d; twenty rams, bred by Rennie, of Masterton, averaged £1 lis 6d; eleven ram lambs, bred by Chrystall (Lochiel), averaged £2 28; sixteen ewes, bred oy Andrew, averaged £3 10s 3d; four, bred by Nixon, averaged £4; five lambs, bred by Chrystall, averaged £1 12s 6d. , English Leicester: Twenty-five rams, bre,d by W. Nixon, averaged £1 Is; twenty, bred by Slack (Waitote), averaged £1 lis 6d; fifteen, bred by Andrew (Ellesmere), averaged £1 19s 4d; sixty-three, bred by Threkled (Canterbury), averaged £1 Is; fifteen hoggets, bred by Howden (Dansandel), averaged £1 17s 9d; fourteen, bred by Threkled (Inglewood), averaged £1 Is; twentyfour ewes, bred by W. Nixon, averaged £1 16s 9d; fifty sold at £1 Is each; two, bred by Andrew (Ellesmere), sold at £1 12s 6d each, Corriedale: Two ram lambs, bred by Evans (Longbush), averaged £3 2s. Roroney: Fifty-five rams,, bred by Lovelock (Palmerston North), averaged £2 4s 4d. Eight Shropshire rams, bred by Evans, averaged £1 Is.
