Received July 8, 8.40 a.m. RIO DE JANEIRO, July 7. Further details regarding the sudden revolution at Ascuncion, the capital of the Republic of Paraguay, have been received here. At daybreak on 2nd July a military ■ outbreak occurred at Ascuncion. Artillery bombarded the police . barracks, and after two days' furious firing, the Government ( was over- . thrown. , Many persons were killed oi \ wounded.
A cablegram a few days ago stated i that President Ferreira and the mem_—feersofthe Ministry took refuge in the Argentine Legation and that Gonzalo Navero had formed anew < Government.
