KILLED BY A TRAIN.

M'Mahon, a single man, aged 24, a railway labourer, while carrying material*along the line near Newmarket Station this morning, Was run over by a truin which, unknown to him,' backed down the line. The body was mangled, and death was practically instantaneous.
