CLOSING OF POLITICAL CLUBS. Received July 3, 9.48 p.m. TEHERAN, July 3. The Persian provinces are closing the Anjumas or political clubs, and are organising demonstrations in honour of the Shah.
BRITAIN AND KUSSIA IN ACCORD. Received July 3, 11.58 p.m. LONDON, July 3. The "Daily Telegraph" says that Great Britain and Russia are in close and amicable accord in regard to the Persian crisis. Received July 3, 11.15 p.m. LONDON, July 3. In the Honsa of Commons, Sir Edward Grey stated that the Persian troops which surrounded the British Legation at Teheran have been withdrawn. The British Government required a written guarantee for the safety of the lives and property of refugees before they, quit the Legation, and in the of those accused of crime as distinct from political offences assurances that; they will have a fair trial whereat a member of the Legation is to be present. • The statement was received with cheers.
