A CLERGYMAN'S INDICTMENT

Received July 3, 0.5 a.m. ADELAIDE, July 3. The Rev. Mr Clark, who attended Coleman, the murderer of Constable Ring, at the execution yesterday, states that relying on that same set.se'*of justice which precluded the Executive from granting a reprieve, he could not see how the proper authorities could avoid taking action against the publicans, who were unquestionably law-breakers in allowing Coleman to soak himself with whisky on their premises. He had never, on Coleman's behalf, pleaded for mercy at the expense of justice, but would be disappointed if an effort v.-as not made to bring the men who were undoubtedly accessories to the tragedy to book.
