Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report as follows:--We held our fortnightly sale at our Masterton yards on Wednesday. Owing to the unsettled state of the weather the yarding did not come up to advertised numbers, although the yarding was small all good sorts met with good competition. We quote as follows: Two-tooth wethers 14s ( 3d, forward ewes 9a 6d, fat ewes 13s Gd, 2-year steeys £3 18s 6d. Messia Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows:—We held a very successful clearing sale of dairy stock, yesterday, on account of Mr P. J. Quirk, at his, farm Mangamaira. The cows, comprising about 100, were oil well bred stuff, being pnncipally Jersey and Ayrshire cross.
