Tho wholo of tho loan is to be repayable on tho 31st day of March, 1950. It is not proposed to pay out of the loan monios tho cost of raising tho loan or tho first year's interest. THE Masterton Borough Council HEREBY GIVES PUBLIC NOTICE that such Council proposes to raise A Special Loan of FORTY THOUSAND POUNDS (.£40,000) for the purpose of DRAINAGE AND SANITATION EXTENSION TO BE APPLIED in paying off tho existing drainage loans of £B,OOO and £5,000 respectively, and tho balance £27,000 to be applied in extonding and improving the Drainage and Sanitation Work, of tho Borough, so that tho rate to he levied shall bo a uniform rate extonding over tho whole Borough. Tho proposal to bo conditional on the Government agreeing to advance tli*» money for tho work, and the poll to bo -taken subject to such condition. And to make an annually recurring special rato of .98 penco in the £, on tho unimproved value of all rateablo property within the said Borough as security for tho interest and sinking fund in connection with such loan. The whole of tho loan is to be repayable on the 31sb day of March,'l9so.
