FOOTBALL.
A match ,was played between the Rover and Liberal Juniors on the Reserve, at Carterton, yesterday, and resulted in a win for Carterton Rovers by 6 points to 3. The following will represent Red Star Seniors against Masterton Seniors, to-morrow, on the Showgrounds: —Duggan, Gifford, Wing, Chamberlain, Baker, Adam*?, McKcnsiw, R. Welch, McCarthy, Clarke, Moana Paretene, Corbatt, K. Welch, Scorrar, Cross.

Captain Harding-, of the AngloWelsh football team, telegraphs to the "New Zealand Times" contradicting the' Press Association messages from Napier to thu effect that the tour had been badly arranged, and the team compelled to do much more travelling than was necessary. Mr Harding says: "Have not criticised travelling arrangements. Report untrue."
