SENTENCED TO DEATH.
Received July 2, 8.25 a.m. BERLIN, July 1. Grete Brier, a beautiful girl, aged 22, daughter of a former burgomaster of Brand, Saxony, was sentenced to death for killing Presslcr, her fiancee, at Chemnitz. She also forged his will in her favour, and other documents suggesting that he had committed suicide.
Mrs Brier and a man with whom the girl had been on intimate terms, are to be prosecuted as accomplices in the forgery and murder, also on charges of forgery of a will in connection with the mysterious death of a rich relative of the Brier's.
