OLD AGE PENSIONS. Received July 3, 12.55 a.m. LONDON, July 2. In the House of Commons the Pensions Bill passed through Committee with a schedule which fixes the pension at five shillings when a pensioner's means does not exceed £21.; four shillings when it does not exceed £2B 12s 6d; three shillings when it does not exceed £26 ss; two shillings when it does not exceed £2B 17s 6d; one shilling when it does not exceed £29 10s. When a person's income is above the last-named sum no pension will be granted.
