The New Zealand Loan and Meicantik' Agency Co., Ltd., report on their Pahiatua sale on Tuesday aa follows:—-Sheep entries were very limited, but any of good quality we were enabled to make a clearance at oound.rates. The cattle offering were mostly females, these failing lo reach owner's reserves. At Masterton, on Wednesday, the yarding in sheep was small, empty ewes being most in evidence, all selling. In lambs some strong sorts were offered, and made good value, one pen of smaller sorts only being neglected. A line of good quklity ewes in lamb sold at better value than last market. In fats only medium quality were penned, these selling at .full value. No store wethers offered, we having disposed of them privately prior to the sale. At Pahiatua, fat wethers, prime, 15s 6d; stores, 10s 2d to 12s; fat and forward ewes, 10s; best lambs, 7s; others, and ss; neat calves, 10?. At Masterton, on Wednesday, light fat ew.es, lis; best ewes in lamb, lis 4d"; others, 8s; very forward lambs, 10s; best stores, 8s 2d to 8s 6d; medium, 6s to 6s 8d; small, 5s 3d; empty ewes, according to condition, 8s to 9s.
