THE WESTPORT MURDER.

BY TELEGRAPH — PRESS ASSOCIATION. NELSON, June 29. The trial of Olaf Halinen and Anders Anderson, for the murder at Wcstpnrt, on June Bth, of Ernest John Bourke, was continued at the Supreme Court to-day, when evidence for the defence was given by a number of witnesses, being mainly of a corroborative nature.

The hearing of evidence has now extended over six days, and is still unfinished. It is expected that the remaining witnesses will be disposed of to-morrow.
