Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Wellington, have received the following cable massage from their London House under date of the 25th inst. Butter—Market firm. The Copenofficial quotation is unchanged. Th'j total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for week ending 2uth inst. amounted to 87,000 cwt., a3 compared with 83,000 cwt. for the c >rresponding week of 1907, showing an increase of 4,000 cwt. Frozen meat—There is an active demand for Jamb, and the market is very firm. Better demand for mutton and prices
