WESTPORT MURDER CASE.

The Westport murder case was continued at the Supreme Court, this afternoon, a number of witnesses being examined for the defence. No material evidence was adduced, the testimony being mainly a repetition of that given at the inquest, and in the lower Court.

Mr McDonald, a Westport solicitor, detailed an interview in the gaol between the accused Halinen and Anderson and Haakonson, who was with them on the night of the tragedy. The taking of evidence has now occupied five day?, and is still unfinished.
