German trade continues to be affected by the new British patent law.
Many firms are urging the German Government to adopt, steps to counteract serious losses in exports. Sir Alfred Jones, senior.partner in the shipping firm of Elder, Dempster and Co., estimates that the Act has secured the investment of many millions sterling in regard to articles previously made abroad.
