NAPIER RACES. BY TEIiECJBAPII—• VBKBS ASSOCIATION. NAPIER, June 25. The winter meeting of the Napier Park Racing Club concluded to-day in dull weather. The going was on the heavy side. T. Pritchard, rider of Hatley, had his shoulder dislocated when "his mount fell in the Waiohiki Hack Hurdles. The totalisator investments amounted to £6,236, a' decrease of £1,495. For the two days the machine handled £2,987 less than last year. Twelve bookmakers were licensed to-day. Results:— Brooklands Hack Handicap, 6 furlongs. Sandstream, 9.12, 1; Niwaru, 9.3, 2; San Jose, 9.8, 3. Alsb started—Waioriki. Won comfortably by three lengths. Time, Imin 22secs. Waihohiki Hack Hurdles, lfc miles. Top Rose, 10.9, 1; Letherin, 11.10, 2; Commander, 10.7, 3. Alao started- Whatakura, Noteorini, Full Cry, Hatley, Rawhiti, Hutiwai. Won by a couple of lengths. Hatley fell. Time, 2rnin 58secs. Winter Oats Handicap, 7 furlongs. Erl King, 9.10, 1, San Fernando, 9.10, 2; White Lie, 9.12 3. All started. Won all out by a length. Time, lmin 3G 4-ssecs. PARK STEEPLECHASE, about 2} miles. Fretwork, 10.11 (W. Higgins) 1 Baltic 9.7 (F. Whitehouse) 2 Nogi 10.3 (J. Delaney) 3 All started. Won easily by five lengths, long neck between second and third. Time smin 40 3-ssec. Ladies' Bracelet 1 mile. Oakbourne 10.11,1; Ancycle, 10.8, 2; Prize Bloom, 10.11, 3. Also started —Hirmpai 12.10, Waikaraka 12.8, Espartero 12.2, Illustrious 10.13, Concussion 10.8. Won by tvvo lengths. Time, lmin 53 3-ssec. Poraiti Hurdles, If mile. —Defeat, 9.3, 1; Pretty Maid, 10.9, 2; Gold Dust. 11.2, 3. Also started—Black Reynard, The Stake, To Kainui, Monarque. Won by a couple of lengths. Time, 3min 27 3-ssec. Newstead Hack Handicap, 7 furlongs, —Highden, 9.8, 1; Ancycle, 9.2, 2; San Jose, 9.9, 3. Also started— Waipunohu, Merry Tiger, Rose Lethe. Won by four lengths. Time, lmin 37 2-ssec. A protest against the winner, for weighing in with the whip, was dismissed.
