FIGHTING AT TEHERAN.
* MARTIAL LAW PROCLAIMED. BOMBS THROWN IN THE STREETS. Received Juno 25, 8.48 a.m. TEHERAN, June 25. Prior to yesterday's developments, the Persian Parliament presented an ultimatum to the Shah, and relations between tliem were broken off. The Shah lias now ordered martial law in Teheran. During yesterday' 3 fighting 1 bomb 3 were thrown, killing several soldiers and officials. Parliament building and many houses in the vicinity were sacked by soldiers. / The Indo-European telegraph station was unde'r (ire. While the bullets were flying nrouiu'', one of the native staff vvjjs wounded. It is reported that foreign residents are in n ) danger. A number of editors tcok refuge in the British Legation. The British and Russian representatives requested the Shah to take immediate steps to restore order. Their Governments hold him responsible for any unfortunate incidents occurring. The Shah assured them that everything would be d.me to prevent further disturbances.
NATIONALIST LEADERS
HANGED
Received June 25, 10.25 p m. TEHERAN, Juno 25.
The Cossacks cautured 25 Persian Nationalists leaders, and of these two were hanged at the Royal Camp. The Shall promised to spare the lives of the rest. The troops stationed t:o watch the approach to the British Legation were ordered to shoot fugitives seeking a sanctuary there.
