TJlie D.1.C., Wellington, intimates that its Grout, Winter Clearing Sale, opening 011 the 20th, will probably eclipse all previous efforts of that kind. The stock this winter is especially rich and full, and the winter in Wellington has been exceptionally mild and dry. The Company makes it a rule to carry over 110 brock to a new season; so that prices at. this sale are carefully calculated to make tno clearance thorough. On fashion floods there will bo reductions of from 23 to 50 per cent.; on ordinary goods, of from 15 to 23 per cent. The Company persistently stresses the fact that it carries no old stock. The goods offered iu e all of the latest fashion and the highest quality that can be obtained in the best markets.
