UNREST IN INDIA.
BOM 3 THROWN AT A TRAIN. TWO PERSONS INJURED. Received June 23, 8.21 a.m. CALCUTTA, June 22. A bomb was thrown at a mail train near Barrackpur, in the Bengal province. Two Europeans were injured, and a compartment wrecked. Received June 23, 10.15 p.m. CALCUTTA, June 23. Addressing tha Legislative Council at Poona, Sir G. Sydenham Clarke said it was impossible for the Government to sit with folded arms when confronted with a deliberate organisation for indiscriminate murder, though the employment of force against misguided people was hateful.
