TINUI.

(Prom Our Own Correspondent.) TINUI, June 19. Mr H. Mclsaacs has just returned fromMarlborough, after being present at his parents golden wedding. Mr Mclsaacs, aenr., arrived in New Zealand in 1842, in the ship Clifford, first landing in Nelson, and his wife, then Miss Priscilla Mealing landed at the same place in 1857 in the CrcSowell. They were married near Leuiield by the Rev. T. S. Nicholson on May 19th, 1858. The young couple settled on the Delta Station, where they remained for 48 years, all the f.tmily being bom there. The family comprises 8 sons, 2 daughters, 31 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. All the first generation were present at the gulden wedding. Numerous congratulations were received from the different parts bt the Dominion, and one from the Hon. C. H. Mills, who wished Mr and Mrs Mclsaacs continued long life and happiness. In the evening Mr and MrriMclsaacs entertained their lriends at a social, which wan held in the Uddfollows' Hall, and one and all agreed that the function waa one of the most successful and enjoyable twer hdld in the district, the opening waltz being led by the " young lurid j." The first mob of sheep from NeLnn to Canterbury was driven by Mr .vlclsaac3 via tne Baret'ell Pass. Mr a id ivlra Mclsaacs are still enjoying tfood health.
