THIRTY ENTOMBED,

Received June 22, 8.56 a.m. NEW YORK, Juno 21. A tragedy is reported from Pittsburg, the great industrial centre in the west and towards the south of Pennsylvania. There was a terrific explosion in one of the collieries, resulting in six persons being killed. Subsequently a fall of earth entombed thirty more. Fire in the mine renders rescue impossible.
