ELECTRIC QUICK-FIRERS.
1,200 PROJECTILES PER MiNUTE. Received June 21, 4.40 p.m. PARIS, June 20. The French Government are having tests made of electric quick-firers, the invention of an engineer at Dijon (chief town in the Department of Cote d' Or, 196 miles south-cast of Paris), named Putease. The guns are said to be capable of discharging 1,200 projectiles per minute without the aid of explosives.
