Mr J. C. Boddington reports that the rainlall registered at Upper Plain for the 24 hours up till 9 a.m. on Friday was 4 points. CAPTAIN EDWIN'S REPORT. BY TELEGRAPH —JPBESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, June 191 The following is Captain Edwin's weather forecast to 3 p.m. to-mor-row:—Strong south-easterly winds northwards of East Cape, Taupo, and Kawhia. South-easterly gale with rain, on coast between East Cape and Cape Campbell with rain and heavy sea. Moderate to strong easterly winds from Kawhia and Taupo southward to PoXton and Hokitika. Moderate to strong northerly winds at all other places. Slowly rising barometer north of Thames and Manukau, but falling everywhere else.
