Tlit: Agricultural and Pastoral Association, to-cby, after a long discussion decided to reduce tin amount charged for the use of the Showground for tho Manawatu-British football match to 20 per cent, of tho gross takings. A resolution to charge a lump sum ot .£SO was thrown out.
The Manawatu Rugby Union this evening decided to recommend the New Zealand Union to accept tho offer of Feilding to allow the match to be placed on the Racecourse free of charge. The Ftilding people have raised £SO as a donation to the local Union if the match is played there, and also .£SO for entertaining the visitors. The local Union will endeavour to arrange for a free train to convey passengers to Foilding from Palmerston North on the day of the match.
TII2 following will represent Albion Juniors in their match with Rovers, at Carterton, to-morrow:---Griffiths. Cohen, T. Green, W. Jones, B. Morris, A. Keeble, T. Ellis, F. Hammond, G. Barr, C. Uowen, P. Haftka, H. Jones, E. Oiinoni, W. Lock wood, L. Paul, W.. Foster, 11. McGillicudy, G. Jackson. The drag will leave White's at 1.30 p.m. The Scarborouh Football Club will hold a social and dance this week, in aid of the Club's uniform fund.
