Mr P. J, O'Regan, chairman of the Wellington Conciliation Board, has notified the Minister for Labour of his intention to resign that f osition, which he had for more than two yeai-3. Mr O'ftegan's reasons for resigning is stress of other duties. Mr F. Harding, a popular member of the Masterton South Brass Band, who was recently married, was pre sented by the members of 'he Band last evening, in the Fire Police Station, with a handsome tea service. The presentation was made by Mr James Bentley (conductor), and Mr Harding suitably acknowledged the gift. The health of Mr and Mrs Harding was proposed by Mr C. Henderson and drunk with musical honours.
