SUDDEN DEATH OF A SETTLER.
WANGANUI, June 14. Mr T. C. Taylor, one of the oldest settlers of the Wanganui district, passed away suddenly on Saturday afternoon. He was on the golf links wher, he suddenly fell to the ground ard expired before medical aid could be procured. The deceased, who was a son of the late Captain T. tf. Taylor, was born in Wanganui in .1848.
