The Rev. L. Thompson, of Carterton, has not yet Quite recovered from 'the accident which he met with recently, through his horse falling •and rolling on Him. Misi Helga Petersen has been presented by the members of the Carterton Orchestral Society with a handisome afternoon tea service, to mark "the occasion of her approaching '.marriage. v Mr A. VV. Woodger, who has been for the past two years clerk at the Pahiatua railway station, has received notice of transfer to Petone. Tha change means promotion for Mr Woodger.
