ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION.

COMMAND OF THE NIMROD. CHRTBTCHURCH, June. 11. Mr Kinacy, the official representative in New Zealand of the British Antarctic expedition of 1907, states that he has come to an agreement with Sir James Mills by which one of the Union Company'a of'keis will take command of the Ninirod on her next voyage to the Antarctic on December 24th. The officer selected is Lieutenant F. R. Evans, R.N.H. He had commanJ of the Koonya and charge of the towing arrangements on the Nimrod's trip in January last.
