At St. Mark's Church, Carterton, yesterday afternoon, Mr William Je9ie Hart, eldest son of Mr John Hart, of Wesfcport, was married to , Mian Florence Woodiey, eldest daughter of Mr John Wojdley, ot Carterton. Mr II J. O'Leary. fov fifteen years a member of tiu School ConimitLeiJ, who is now no longer a number, was presented with a harnisomily framed photographic enlargement of tha old committed, at the conclusion of the meeting of the committee last evenintr. Mr W. A. Fentlall (in thu absence of the chairman, Mr R. Brown) made the presentation, and paid u high tribute to the valuable practical w.jrk done by Mr O'Leary, and the untiring zeal, he had displayed during his long term of ofl'cj. Other members of the committee atsi spoke in the same strain as tlvi chairman, one and all expressing n strong hope that Mr O'Leary would at 30m9 future time be found working in tin interests of the echo'il children of the district. Mr W. H. Jackson, headmaster of the echo jl, also made eulogistic reference "io thu sympathetic and cordial manTier in which Mr O'Leary had carried out his duties. Mr O'Leary, in reply, thanked tho members for the gift, and gave an interesting account of tho history of the committee since he bad been connected with It.
