A WOMAN'S DEATH.
BY TELEGRAPH—PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, June 10. An inquest was opened at the hospital on the body of Laura May Collins, a single woman, aged 24. Evidence by the girl's mother showed that the deceased was a barmaid at Waikino and Karangahake. Medical evidence was to the effecl that death resulted from septic peritonitis, there Deing evidence of mechanical operation.
