MAURICEVILLE.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) An infant son of Mr Harris was playing with a bottle of lemonade when it exploded and cut him rather severely on the eye. He was taken to Masterton, where he received medical treatment. A case of scarlet'lna is reported in this district. Messrs Blackmore and O'Connor left last week on a trip to Auckland and Rotorua, via the Main Trunk Line. They intend to visit the principal places of interest bii route.
