Received June 8, 10.40 a.m. MELBOURNE, June 8. There has been a falhng-off in the hop industry in Victoria. The fall is largely due to the lower prices of hops. ADVANCE IN PRICE OF BUTTER. Received June 8, 10.40 a.m. SYDNEY, June 8. The price of butter will be advanced six shillings per cwt. to-day, raising the price of special brands to 118s. IMMIGRANTS FOR NEW ZEALAND. Received June 9, 12.20 a.m. SYDNEY, June 8. The Cornwall, from Liverpool, brings 140 immigrants for New Zea.-> land.
