ENTERTAINMENT AT AUCKLAND.
3PPOPOSED- PROGRAMME. :®Y TELEGBAPH—-PHF.BS ASSOCIATION . AUCKLAND, Juno 4._ Tho Governor and the Commissioners appointed by the Government to co-operate with the Auckland local bodies, met in conference with the Mayor to-day and discussed the ' arrangements for the reception and entertainment of the American Fleet. The programme so far agreed upon includes Government dinner on Monday to the Admiral, officers and other official guests, provision being made for a thousand persons and the Government also associate themselves with local bodies in providing an entertainment for the men of the fleet. There will also be a volunteer review in the'afternoon, official welcome to «*-tha Admiral, presentation of sou- ' 'Venn's to the President of the United < States, tq the Admiral and men of yfche fleet. On Tuesday there will be a Mayoral receptiun to the Admiral, ■officers and citizens. On Wednesday the Acfmiral and officers will visit Rotorua, where there will be a reception and entertainment. They will return on Friday and attend a arranged by the Governor.
