PERSONAL.
The wedding of Miss Ethel Andrew, of Mastertun, and Mr James W. Ferguson, of Wellington, was solemnised at the Maaterton Methodist Church yesterday morning. Mr J. Andrew, uncle of the bride, gave her away, Mr J. Ferguson, brother of the bridegroom acting as best man. The Misses 0. and E. Andrew were bridesmaids, and Mr J. An irew,. the bride's brother, groomsman. The R2v. J. N. Buttte was the officiating' clergyman, Miss E. Daniell, organist, playing the Wadding March as* the couple left the church. A reception was held at the residence of thebride's mother. The honeymoon is to be spent in Wellington. The Hon. John Rigg, M.L.C., waa married at Wellington yesterday afternoon to Miss Pauline Margaret Isabel Anketell, only daughter of Mr Charles Anketell, a well-known settler at Masterton. The ceremonywas performed by the Rev. J. Kennedy Elliott, of the Kent Terrace Presbyterian Church. The bride, who was married in her travelling dress,' was given away by her father, and was attended by the Misses Mary and Inez Rieg, nieces of the bridegroom. Mr E. W. Kane was best iran.
