On Saturday last Hukanui defeated Nireaha by 8 points to nil; and Pahiatua defeated Eketahuna by 8 points to 3. It is probable that the third class fixture between Red Star and Dalefield, which is to take place on Saturday next, will be played at Carterton. The following te°rn will represent Red Star 111. against the District High School to-morrow—T. Riddle, Messenger, Edwards, Harris, Boyd, Mason, deLisle, Gaily, Mcßarron, Billington, Treen, Coyle, O'Dowd, Dixon, Smith. Play will commence at 2 o'clock. The following will represent Masterton 11., in their match with Wellington 11., on Showgounds, on Wednesday, at 2.30 p.m.:—Pauling, Williams, Cook, Iggulden, Thompson, Ferguson, Lett, Barry, Hawko, Miller, Erickson, Tanner, Walshe, Dixon and Munn.
