THE FEDERAL TARIFF.
SIR WILLIAM LYNE DISSATISFIED. Received Jjune 1, 9.55 a.m. MELBOURNE, June 1. Sir William Lyne (the Federal Treasurer) is dissatisfied with the tariff as passed. He considers the Protectionist basis too low, and intends to fight for a higher one.
