INDIAN FRONTIER TROUBLE.
ACTIVE OPERATIONS CLOSED.
A STRONGHOLD DESTROYED. Received June 1, 9.15 a.m. CALCUTTA, May 31. Active operations against the Mohmands closed on Friday with the destruction of the Khoda Khel stronghold by the second brigade. Lieutenant Young was dangerously wounded. Ten native troops were also wounded. LIEUT. YOUNG SUCCUMBS. Received June 1, 9.55 p.m. CALCUTTA, June 1. Lieut. Young, who was wounded in the attack on the Khoda Khels, has succumbed.
