PROTEST AGAINST EMPLOYMENT OF NON-UNIONISTS. NEW YORK, May 22. The American Union of Labour, as a protest against-the employment of non-unionists, blew up and partly demolished a new steel bridge on the New Haven - Hartford railroad at Bronx. They were frustrated in an attempt to blow up another bridge on the Bronx river. In their hurry to escape the fugitives dropped ninety pounds of dynamite into the river.
