IHURAUA VALLEY.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) « Though the winter is here, we ha 1 * e experienced very mild weather, Buc fur leafless trees and an occasional frost, we would hardly know it was winter. For this time of the year the roads are in very good order—quite different to what they were during the same period last year. The gras3 in the district has come on well lately, and stock picking mp in condition. A very sucessful concert and dance was held here on May 15th. In the matter of attendance the function was a record. The programme sub--mitted was an excellent one and much appreciated. - :
