Received May 21, f.20 a.m. LONDON, May 20. A majority of Lancashire and Cheshire miners voted in favour of affiliation with the Labour Representation Committee. CONSTANTINOPLE, May 20. The Porte, under a threat that other proceedings would bo taken, accepted the terms of M. Constans, French Ambassador, for a settlement of the Heracles ccal mines dispute in Asia Minor. (An application by the owners of tho Heracles colluries for the prompt settlement of cer ain claims against the Porte is being supported by France. Recently France notified the Porte, that a demand of £SOO would .bo made for every day's delay, besides an indemnity for losses through Turkey's attitude). Received May 21, 9 a.m. LONDON, May 20. A memorial to William Dampier, the navigator, has been erected at his birth-place, East Coker, Somerset.-
