WANGANUI TRAINING NOTES. BY TKIiEOItAI'II —I'IUMS ASSOCIATION. WANGANUI, May 20. Canton, Eurus, Tiison, Mulga Bill 1 and Mits Vera arrived last night. I The weather was beautifully line this morning, when the tracks were very busy, but there was little jumping. The.e were only a few fast ops to-day. Te Kainui, Fretwork ami Arahuru were schooled over the big fences. Te Kainui cleared a couple in fine styie, and then pulled out, the others conui:nmg and jumping well. The Dane an I Compass covered a coupla of rounds over the little sticks, both shaping well. Mulga Bill and Miss Vera sprinted four furlongs, finishing together. It was one of the iastest gallops over the distance seen on the local tracks for a long time. Cloudy Morn negotiated the big obstacles safely, doing twice round, but the display was unattractive. Tilion, Eurus and Canton were each very fit, and did solid work on the flat, as di.i Mahoe, Research, Chase Mait, Repulse, Naidi, Belario, and a large number of others.
