MASTERTON MORRIS TUBE ASSOCIATION.

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Association was held in the Drill Hall last night, Mr R. J. King (captain) presiding over a large attendance of members. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: —Patron, Mr Hy. Holmes; President, Dr Cook; Vice-Presidents, Messrs A. C. Major, F. Whitton, W. Burridge, C. E. Daniell, 0. Pragnell, D. Lett, H. C. L. Robinson, and P. S. Cuoper; Captain, Mr H. Perry; Secretary and Treasurer, Mr D. M. Mcintosh (re-elected); Auditor, Mr C. Perry (re-elected); Referees, Messrs McNabb, 11. Perry and King; Match Committee. Messrs Wellington, E. Perry and McNabb; Range Committee, Messrs Wellington and Hornblow; Executive Committee comprised of the foregoing committees.The balance sheet showed the Association to be in a strong financial position, starting the year with a credit balance of £4 Is Id, and assetß amounting to £G lis 6d after meeting many extra expenses. The outlook for the present season was reported to be very bright. Ten new members were elected.

The shooting season will be opened next Monday night with a practice. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to the doners of trophies for last season.
