(To the Editor). Sir,-—ln reference to the article appearing' in the Age on the 18th just.-, regarding weather forecasts, predicted by the famous Clement L. Wragge on the occasion of his visit to New Zealand, 1 concur with thp re marks as to the time not being any particular year, and, as stated, the solar maximum' being then due would be responsible for changes that would- curtail the usual, or rather the large amount of rain that had been prevalent up to that time (100-1) —I am, etc., G.
