At 9 a.m. yesterday Captain Edwin issued the following forecast for the subsequent 24 houx-3:— Wind Ea«terlv, moderate to strong at ad places northward of East Cape, Taupo and Kawhia; south-eitsrerly, moderate to strong thence to Napier; northerly, moderate to strong elsewhere. Barometer Little movement northward of East Cape, Taupo and Kawhia; rise slowly thence to Na.pier; fall slowly all other places.
