Mr A. B. Cottle, of Kopuaranga, of his property and intJncla residing at Upper Hutt. Mr C. J. Nightingale, of the fJoki■>tika "Guardian," is at present on a visit to relatives at Kopuaranga. , District / Court Judge Haeelden .arrived in Maaterton yesterday . afternoon, and will preside over a sitting of the Court here to-day. Mr E. C. Isaac, Irtspector of Manual and Technical Education for the Wellington Education Board, is at present on a visit to Madterton, on • official business. Mr Victor Black, advance agent for Mr Edwin Cieach's Dramatic Company, is at present in town making arrangements for the Company's appearance in the Town Hall next week. A Press Association cablegram from ..London states that Mr Reynolds, of the Pacific Cable Board, who is ..attending the Lisbon Postal Conference, has been taken very seriously ill. At the annual meeting of the Morris Tube Association last evennig special reference was made to the able manner in which Mr D. M. Mcintosh, the secretary, had carried out his duties during the year, «nd was accorded a hearty vote o| thanks.
A wedding was solamniaed at St.i Church, Masterton, yes-| when Miss May Dixon, ?J=°nd daughter of Mr Charles .Dixon, of Dixon Street, wag married to Mr Wm. O'Connor, of Taueru. The ceremony was performed !.by fie Rev. H. J. Edwards, a reception afterwards being held at the residence of the bride's parents. The ''honey melon is being spent in the . South Island.
