PERSONAL.
Mr J. Bond, of Carterton, is seriously ill in the Wellington Hospital. Dr Archer Hosking will deliver a lecture to the Ladies' Nursing Guild this evening at the Dominion Hall, on home nursing. The death occurred at Featherston on Sunday morning of Miss Elizabeth Unwin. The deceased, who was 69 years of age. was a sister of Mr H. j. Unwin, of Featherston, and had resided for the greater part of her life in New Zealand. Mr J. C. Alpass, who has resided in New Zealand for nearly thirty years past, has decided to pay a visit to his friends in the Old Country. Mr Aplass will leave Masterton this morning for Wellington, and has booked a passage by the lonic, which takes her departure to-morrow via Capte Horn.
